Absolutely beautiful! Definitely needed 4 wheel drive. Found a spot no problem. Good 30 min drive to reach it. Tight switchbacks. Love the beauty and splendor. Thanks Colorado for showing your beauty.

Dispersed Nat. Forrest camping. Please treat these dwindling reaources respectfully, bring your own firewood, leave it better than you found it.

Beautiful and wild, just the way it should be. Views of the Rockies and the front range communities. No water, no bathrooms, so prepare accordingly. Pack it in, pack it out.

Good open campsite on USFS land. Suitable for a small trailer or RV. Watch out on weekends, because the Monastery trailhead fills up with hikers and they will overflow here. Most are polite enough not to block you in, but my neighbor did have issues. The better (and more isolated) sites are down the hill from the main site.
