Cool experience kayaking to this very unique only boat-accessible area. Vault toilets, picnic benches, and a fairly large dock are the only amenities for here. Flying insects (gnats) can be pretty bad here most of the year compared to other rec areas on the lake. Still very fun nonetheless!
This place is seriously stunning. I have to say, there are all sorts of lagoons you can find yourself in. I do have one complaint, on the weekend there are so many boaters AND the waterways can be quite narrow in some places making the wakes a bit of an issue if you want to swim. I recommend finding a lagoon to anchor in and swim there. Lots of people with really loud music/boats playing explicit stuff. Not the most conducive for families, might be different on a week day.
A beautiful place to watch the sun rise and what gorgeous sunsets
a dock & an outdoor toilet, nothing fancy but gets the job done. the views all thru this area are phenomenal!! The history of this area & majestic views are unparalleled...
Rental boats available. Beautiful scenery!!! Fun lake for swimming and playing in the water.
