Thoroughly enjoyed staying in the East yurt. No power or running water at the yurt but was close to the modern campground bathrooms and water source. Lake Superior is just over the bank offering a great view. Saw the sun rise AND set over the water! Too many waterfalls and other natural beauty to see in one week.
An awesome state park and natural area, lots of hikes wild life to view in a large coastal forest area plus beach!
Really nice campground! Only annoyance the whole time was the flies but that’s to be expected outdoors. Campsite was well maintained and in a very gorgeous setting with a walkable path to rocky lake superior shoreline and a 1-5min drive to any of the bayside sandy beaches. Bathrooms were to be expected but well maintained. The camp host was adorable and had lots of fun activities and great information about the area!
