The ranch is a perfect place to stay for a Death Valley visit. It’s super close to the main attractions. Very clean and parking was easy. It was really nice to have the general store, multiple dining options and the ice cream shoppe in walking distance. We loved our stay and it was great to have a washer in the cottage as well.
Best place to stay while visiting Death Valley National Park. Visited during thanksgiving week. Room was spacious, amenities are good, no microwave though. The place is excellent to walk around. The general store is nice, you can get most of the stuff there including groceries section with packed sandwiches. There is microwave you can use to warm your own food. Breakfast buffet at restaurants 1849 is good , cost almost 22 bucks, but worth it. The ice cream parlor is a must try. Overall beautiful place to stay and enjoy Death Valley.
Check in process was easy and seamless. Communication from the desk was awesome. The resort and the grounds are absolutely beautiful in location is perfect. If you would like to get a nice exploration of death Valley national Park. We would stay here again.
My husband and I stayed in the Cottages with our two young kids for 3 nights and would highly recommend it for families visiting the park. The location cannot be beat and the rooms were new and nice. We loved being able to walk around the property to the Saloon and Ice Cream Parlor. My husband and son also played golf one morning and were able to walk to the course. The staff was the real highlight and everyone was so personable and friendly. It really was an oasis in the desert!
We paid for two day passes to use the pool and showers since we were camping at Furnace Creek campground. The pool was fine but the showers were pretty gross. There were clumps of hair clogging up the drain, and when we went back the next day the clumps of hair were still clogging the drain, indicating they weren’t cleaned. You’d think for the prices this resort charges the amenities would be nicer.
