The kids and I had a great time. Our camp site was high up on the ridge among the trees overlooking the fish pond and facing the sunset. It was great. Free showers and $3.00 laundry. I can't wait to go back. -the Johnsons
Beautiful place great camping spot hiking spot plus they have cabin rental. It's got an even better rental agent her name is Sherry. So if you are into hiking and camping or UTV riding the reload is the spot you're looking for.
Amazing campsite - highly recommend. Very clean. Peaceful and quiet environment. Super responsive and nice owner. Walking access to one of the biggest rock climbing areas.
If I could give this place six stars I would!!!! Well kept grounds, spacious sites (some shaded some not), the cleanest bathhouse ever (please keep it that way, campers), games, community boards, climbing info, close to the southern region crags, laundry and firewood (honor system and please do that), great communication via text. This was literally the best campsite we’ve ever been to. Much appreciated and we will definitely come back should we visit the Red again!!! Oh, and they are very dog friendly!!!
Awesome little campsite! They don’t have the best online presence and it’s right next to a busy road for off-roading vehicles. However, it’s super affordable for campers that need water and electric hook ups. Bath house is great and there are security lights around the campground. Near some good hiking as well. I’d stay again!
