The Reserve at Greenleaf

This place is truly a one-of-a-kind gem, offering an unforgettable experience. From the location to the yurt itself, to the exceptional service, everything is absolutely amazing. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, greeting you upon arrival and taking the time to thoroughly explain all the amenities and hiking options available. They're always available if you need assistance, making sure you feel completely at ease during your stay. The yurt is nothing short of incredible—extremely comfortable, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed both inside and out. Every detail has been carefully curated to create a relaxing and visually stunning atmosphere. The surrounding trails are great and easy to follow; we took our dog hiking, and they had the time of their life exploring the area with us. I can’t wait to return and am so grateful for the attention and care the owners put into making sure we had everything we needed. Their personal touch and hospitality truly elevate this place beyond any luxury hotel experience. It’s clear they’ve poured their heart into making this a special retreat, and it’s something we won’t forget.

Everything about this stay was excellent in every way, and I do not say that lightly as a well-traveled Airbnb guest. The pictures on the website really do speak for themselves, so I'll just share my favorite part: lazing in the glorious bed with a blue sky above while we watched a deer walk past our yurt! What a way to start the new year! The luxury part is in the little details: a Berkey, the HOT tub, a fully stocked coffee and tea bar, handmade local soap in the bathroom... The list could go on, but I'll stop by saying THANK YOU, Bubba and Jeanne; your warm hospitality made our stay what it was: amazing..❤️

Bubba and Jeanne are lovely! The Reserve has fantastic accommodations. The yurts are gorgeous. You can also spend time with just your travel companions in a fun big pool with a slide for a small fee! Bastrop has a charming downtown main street to grab a bite and listen to live music. The Reserve is a fantastic place to relax. We loved the hammock, campfire, and lovely coffee bar. For people interested in serious hiking, there are advanced trials over rougher terrain as well as nice accessible wide trails for more casual walking for those of us with less hiking experience. 10/10!

Accommodations and hospitality 110% The couple that owns the place made us feel welcomed in a way you don't get staying at a commercial/corporate resort. The property itself is amazing. Hot tub, hiking trails, grills etc. The yurt is like staying in a luxury resort. Fantastic bed and shower. Will recommend to friends and family. Will definitely be back 💯

This place is a hidden gem! Jeanne and Bubba's hospitality is top notch, the yurts are beautifully decorated, and having access to hike around a 200+acre private nature reserve is such a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back!
