Been a member since the first years and always been one of my favorite places. The growth and improvements over the years only elevated this happy place. Can chill amd read a book in solitude or be social and wild. Always a great bunch of visitors and permanent site folks, always friendly.
This is one of my fav 🏳️🌈campgrounds. I have been here twice now. The residents are wonderful. The property is immense. The individual neighborhoods are cute. The night time lighting and the clever things people have done with their permanent site are fun to walk around and enjoy. 🥳Everyone will say hi.🙋🏻♂️ I've been to eight others , but this is the most beautiful property with the most unique individual landscaping.🤩 You could spend almost 2 hours just walking around this property once. The tent camping⛺ areas and trails are immense. It has the best rustic campsites⛺ and cabins of anywhere I've been,🤩 right on the river! Beautiful swimming pool area🏊♂️ They do not have a bar or a restaurant. A large hot tub is 🥵open all night. Enclosed in a very well designed building.👷🏻♂️ They have facilities for large group events. They also have a large screen TV room and a recreation room with a couple of weight 🏋🏻♂️machines. And they have 🚶🏻♂️walking trails 😉 (with attractions) 🤭. It's actually quite nice 👍🏻 The entry/exit is a very tight one lane squeeze,😣 But it's doable.😜
I made my reservations 9 months in advance and let them know we were first time visitors. We drove 8 hours and was excited about a new experience. First - there is no signage, so we passed the place and then called them for directions. We had to turn our rig around 5 miles down the road to get to them. We checked in... it was a holiday weekend and the had no schedule of events available, then gave us a map to our site. The map wasn't clear and we went different directions to get there. Our site was a nasty mud pit with permanent campers that look liked they had an ongoing yard sale. We couldn't even fit our rig through the road because of trees. They couldn't or wouldn't put us in another site. They did refund our money and we ended up driving another 5 hours to Oz campground. I will never recommend this place..STAY AWAY! It's more permanent and local. Just disappointing all around!
Beautiful campground with a nice swimming pool and an absolutely gorgeous hot tub building. I stayed in the cabin called treehouse. A custom-made cabin by a prior seasonal tenant. The most beautiful cabin I ever stayed in. It has a view to a little river that runs right by it. Multiple old style Windows surround the cabin and offer a 360-degree view to the beautiful forest. One oddity with this cabin is that it has a little convection oven instead of a microwave. Keep that in mind when bringing food. The food stand by the pool has only a very minimal selection of snacks and snack foods. So keep in mind to bring your own food and beverages.
Friendly staff. Well-maintained facilities. Clean restrooms with flush toilets. Clean open showers. Secluded. Remain nude for your entire visit. Large heated pool. Lots of deck area around pool. Hiking trails. Play in creek. Snack bar. Jacuzzi hot tub. Bonfire.
We’ve been camping at The River’s Edge for five years, and we absolutely love it. - The campground is a wonderful place to retreat while also meeting new people with similar interests, making it a place of inclusion. - The campers go out of their way to throw parities and host events to help bring everyone together. - The amazing staff is always available to help ensure a great visit while at the campground. - The grounds provide fantastic amenities including a large heated pool, a large sheltered hot tub, and several awesome places to assemble. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND camping at The River’s Edge campground
Very close to one of the first members, I have enjoyed this campsite for years. It is a fantastic place for enjoying yourself and others. Although I haven't been in years due to health concerns, I love being free as a bird.
