Awesome spot for viewing the river drop down creating a beautiful waterfall. There are nearby hiking trails as well, which can get you into the forest pretty quickly. The only issue with this spot is its popularity and very limited parking. We visited on a weekday during the off-season this last time, so it wasn't an issue for us.
This is on the way, so you might as well stop! Make sure you gas up and get a snack/ drink before you start the trek, because there isn't anywhere to until after you're done. It's definitely a lazy girl hike of 15-20 feet from the parking lot!
Good spot to pull off and hike, otherwise a decent opportunity for photos and stretching your legs.
Great access! Park and you're there. You can hit the trail if you like, but not needed.
We visit this cool place all the time we travel to the Smoky Mountains. My teenage boys have a blast all the time. The almost perfect cliff jumping spot in the park .
