We stayed here in mid to late 70's. Was surprised it is still here. Owner just recently bought this and were lucky to come across her phone #. She was very nice and was happy to be able to stay here. Would love to come back and take a boat ride down the river or kayak down the Ichetucknee.
This place is in need of help. Bathrooms are the worst thing I ever seen at a campground. They had a lot of flooding and damage from Helene. Leaving the bath house a stinky dirty mess. I would give this place atleast a year to give it a 2nd chance.
From the moment we got there, Terry and her mom Lois From the moment we got there she went above and beyond to make us happy with the accommodations! The pool was so refreshing. Our view from the cabin directly see the river . We highly recommend this location. Deer roam freely next to the cabin
I absolutely loved staying here! This is a hidden Gem I’m so glad we found. Beautiful little cabin overlooking the Suwannee river, and so comfortable inside. Had a nice shower , little kitchenette, cold AC , comfy bed and futon in the living room. Everything we needed! Pleasantly surprised with how much space was inside. Nice fire pit outside to enjoy as well. The owner was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. My family and I can not wait to come back! Definitely recommend!!!
The good part is the people were friendly and gave us full hook up for our RV late after dark when we really needed it! (Tony and Lois) Thankyou for your kindness! I'm sorry to say in the morning to our surprise it is nothing at all like the reviews and pictures on line Take note of how long ago those reviews were given and those pictures were takes long ago as well! Sadly it's the direct opposite of what is shown and described on this websight there must have been a major storm, shortage of funds along with no one with a vision to bring it back to what it once It looks like it's a little village for the homeless in tell something better comes around😬😒😔
