We stayed here for only one night, and it was a lovely campground. There were beautiful trees and chickens wandering about. There were a number of full-time RVs but their sites were clean and tidy and attractive. But the best part of the experience was Boris and his wood turning demo. It’s sounded kind of interesting to us and it turned out to be absolutely fantastic! At 4 PM., give or take a little bit as he is flexible, Boris does a demonstration with participation of wood turning. He gave us some background on the craft of woodturning, various tools and equipment, and he starts with a demonstration. But for those who are interested, which we were, he guides us through our first project. It was so much fun!
Easy to find, clean and safe camping location! Very reasonably priced. Jorgette, the owner and camp host, is very friendly and informative. They have a lot of events too but we stayed just 1 night.
I had a great stay as a Harvest Host Guest. I was meet at the location and directed into my parking space. I had requested 50 Amp service and it didn't work, there was no power, not miswired, they immediately came to fix it. It turned out that the breaker had been switched off, so it was an easy fix! The owners were not there, but the tour of the workshop was conducted by the Camp Host's son, Jeremy had been taking lessens for two weeks and he gave the tour. I purchased a small bowl and it was very nice. I slept well and getting in and out was awesome. I would definitely come back!
We needed a place to hide out from hurricane Milton and most parks were full. We got a reservation at this one not expecting much, but ended up loving it. We were on one of the Harvest Host sites with electric only but it was fairly level, cheap and no other campers nearby. Rita the host was very nice. We stayed three nights and then went back to Florida. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
A true hidden gem in Brookefield. It's nice to take a step outside the hustle and bustle of town. Jorgette and Boris have put a lot of effort into maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. They even offer activities for guests and thier families. This place has really turned a new leaf.
