We really enjoyed our stay at The Views. In fact, I’m sitting outside at the back of the RV now enjoying the view of Sleeping Ute Mountain with my coffee. If you are towing a long RV, double towing or in a motorcoach with tow vehicle, the pull-through sites are the longest I’ve ever seen. The sites are also spacious giving you plenty of room between neighbors. Again, we don’t find this kind of spaciousness very often as it seems most campground owners are trying pack people in. The pull-through sites are not perfectly level which isn’t a problem if you bring levelers or cribbing and was only a slight inconvenience in trying to find a level place to sit outside in our chairs (site 42). Bonus: It’s very, very, very quiet day and night (not because campers are old as a previous reviewer stated but because they’re courteous). There are several early Native American sites to visit in the area (Canyons of the Ancients National Monument). One hour from Four Corners. There are also long walking trails around the campground. It’s off the beaten path which for us was also a plus. Our only regret was that we just booked two days instead of a week. We highly recommend The Views!
Amazing camp, the host was very accommodating when we let them know we would be arriving late in the evening. Clean, safe, friendly, our dog appreciated the dog run. Only reason for the 4 stars: although warm and immaculate, the women’s bathroom does not have a code to enter. We did not feel comfortable showering knowing anyone could enter.
Without a doubt, this is a 5 star camping park. We have stayed in many parks throughout the US and this ranks among the best in our experience. The owners - Matt & Wendy - take great pride in making sure their guests have a totally enjoyable experience. This very clean and well managed park is located in a rural area near a town with cute shops and a lovely food market. There are historical sites, mountain bike trails and water features nearby. We WILL return!
Great hosts really helped us out. I made reservations at The Views returning home after a 2 week trip to Utah. While settling up camp I discovered a serious problem with the suspension on our 5th wheel. They not only allowed me to stay an extra night they also suggested a tech in the area and when he wasn't available allowed another I found close by to make the repairs at our site making our remaining trip home a safe one. Thank again for your help and understanding!
Great cleanly camp. Amenities are top notch. Great for older people and families. If you are a young bunch of campers wanting to enjoy the sky at night and not go to bed when the sun goes down than this is not for you. No fire pits at each camp make it easy for the owners to not have to deal with a potential noice complaint. Dogs must be on a leash even when venturing away from the campground and checkout is 11am. You will get a talking to if you don't abide.
