My wife and I have stayed here a couple times. We really love the vineyards campgrounds in Grapevine Texas. The views are absolutely stunning. The campground is very clean. The staff is super friendly very helpful and I highly recommend if you’re in the north Texas area and you’re looking for a campground to stay at the vineyard campground and cabins of Grapevine. We stayed here in October in our rental rv. This was the beginning of our family trip around Texas. The location of this campground is brilliant, doesn't feel like you're just outside two cities. The facilities are super clean Staff in the store were friendly and helpful to my husband who popped in twice for ice cream and advice. The playground and beach were gorgeous and a way to burn some energy off after a busy day. The covered picnic benches & firepit were so nice.

What a hidden gem!! This place is beautiful and well kept. Does not feel like you are minutes from a big city. We stayed in one of the bigger cabins with a lovely porch overlooking the lake. The people working/volunteering there are super helpful and friendly. We are so glad we found the Vineyards Campground & Cabins!

We only stayed one night, I didn’t take any pics because our stay was so short. We plan on returning in the future. I love the gate entry after dark. The grounds are impeccable and well kept. The lake is such a great scenery/backdrop. The hostess/host were friendly and kind. I didn’t realize it was so close to an airport, I will be bringing a sound machine next time.

After arriving we were in awe of the park and how beautiful it is. We were bummed we were only staying a week However after being here for a few days we have changed our mind a bit. Still is beautiful and peaceful, however the staff needs to get off their power trip. Got a text about speeding- ok maybe we were going a few miles over 10 (hard to keep that speed) as we took trash to the dumpster late at night. Then since our car is not currently in driving condition we had to have things delivered to us. On our last day, after having several other deliveries the front gate calls saying we have a grocery delivery and need to come pick it up. The person who called was really rude about letting them back to deliver. I mean I appreciate security but at 9am I'm not super worried about someone coming in the park for a delivery, especially considering I must see a security golf cart 100 times a day. A place like this needs better staff that is not on a power trip of being constant watch dogs.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Vineyards Campground. The location is a short drive to the Main Street of Grapevine where there are boutiques, restaurants and a farmers market. Our site was level and spacious. We enjoyed the lake views and the walks we could do with our small dog around the entire park. Bathrooms and laundry facility were very clean. We found the staff and fellow campers friendly!

This is the second time we have stayed here and we absolutely love it. We spend about 6 months out of our year on the road hoping around different campgrounds all over the country. Normally stay for about a week and this is one of our favorite places to stay. Can’t wait to come back next year.

First, I would like to start off saying the staff at Grapevine Vineyards Campground is very welcoming and helpful. That’s the main reason for the 2-star rating. The park itself is beautiful. We chose to stay here because our son has important doctor appointments early in the upcoming week. Just so happened we were staying on Easter weekend. Big mistake! On Good Friday, We ended up parked next to a family that was drinking and had their music on until after 1 AM into Saturday morning. They also had visitors with multiple cars parked at their RV site, on the grass and all (which is also prohibited). I could not find the after hours phone number to report it and I also was concerned about retaliation. We also saw at least two dogs, on neighboring sites, running around with no leashes on, though supposedly this is prohibited per park rules. We have two young children and this had us on edge. The next morning at 6 AM, that same family that was partying until after 1 AM, was awake, yet again, slamming doors, talking loudly. We got absolutely no sleep. Thankfully, they moved to another site around 12 PM Saturday, but the damage was already done. I called the front office that Saturday morning to report a loose electrical pedestal (which was this way upon our arrival) and to inform them about the neighbors’ activity. The lady that answered the phone said I should have called the “after hours” number, which at the time, I was unable to locate. Must have been because I was already so flustered. She did mention that we could make “anonymous” reports/complaints. However, we weren’t offered any type of credit or anything to make up for the fact that our night was absolutely ruined. The next morning, now Sunday, another family behind our site, was blowing under their RV before 7 AM. Blowing under your RV park before 7 AM, really??? Needless to say, we left Sunday morning irritable and exhausted. Definitely not worth the cost. We moved to another park, which is where we originally wanted to be, but they were booked due to the holiday weekend. My question to staff, if quiet hours are from 10 PM- 7:30 AM and there is a strict rule regarding dogs off leashes, yet people don’t care to follow these rules, what is the point of the rules? If you want peace, tranquility, and civility, this is not the park. If you’re ok with or prefer loud, inconsiderate, rowdy neighbors, loose dogs, and unsupervised children everywhere (and driving golf carts under age 16), then this is your park!
