Met some great people coming back after 2 years away,staff is welcoming, theme weekends are awesome my favorites are leather but not exclusive.looking forward to seeing some good friends, and new 5 stars it's a safe place,very good time.

Awesome! When it comes down to feeling safe while also feeling an overwhelming amount of attention and service, this is the place to be. Considered our second home, the employees are more than just simply employees, they are family.

Went to late in season was disappointed services, weren't available last 3 days of trip. But had a good time with campers. Enjoyed using the pool,. Hot tub, camp 🔥

I'm returning this year after a visit last July, and really looking forward to a midweek stay with a view of the lake, which I did not check out last year. I may be a bit farther from a bathroom (which are very pleasant), but it is The Woods. I had loads of fun at the pool, and met quite a few more people at two evening events. I wish the bar provided more hours midweek. The vibe here is very cool, with the exception of 1 hostile staff member at Guest Services, and Auntie, who is known for her own level of abrasive charm. 😉 All other staff were helpful and responsive.

I love it here. I've been coming since the pandemic. From the first hour I was here, I knew this was a place I had to return to. The facilities are amazing; m some of the showers are some of the nicest I've seen anywhere, let alone at a campground. The staff is friendly and helpful and the other campers are my favorite part of it all. They come from so many places, they are from different backgrounds, and they are generally welcoming and kind. Like me, everyone I know who comes here wants to return.

So, came up to The Woods. This is my first time coming to a place like this. Seems there was an incident with one of our party back in 2023. The fact that he was banned due to the incident was not the problem. They told us we could drop him off somewhere and me and the other party could stay. WHAT? We can't just ditch a guy to stay. When we asked to get a refund they refused. We drove 3 hrs to get there. So we had to leave without a refund. I will not be going back here and after reading the reviews regarding the owner I'll pass. Just think it was messed up that they would not refund our money. Reading the responses I feel these people feel entitled. I don't need this kind of place. I don't care if I get banned for my honest 1 star review that hurt their feelings. I will not remove this review.Thank you for those that read this review and take their actions to heart.

This beautiful campground is my favorite. Well maintained with friendly professional staff. Merch shop is packed with almost everything you might need for while camping. Crouds are diverse, super fun and of all types. The swimming pool is the best spot to hang during the hot sunny days. Prices are fair and totally worth the buck. Will come again and definitely recommend it.

I stopped in for about 5 minutes accidentally while looking for some local food and their burgers were amazing and the staff was kind. Everyone looked super happy and naked!
