We had the most fabulous time! Our hosts Alex and Dom were so accommodating and friendly! We hiked, enjoyed the cozy cabin with a fireplace. The town was tiny and the hardware store has Everything You might need! Wonderful to arrive to the fire going, so warm and cozy! Can’t wait to go back!
I've been staying around Downieville for years, but this was my first time at the Yubaverse. We stayed in a River Hut, and can't wait to do it again. The staff are more than accommodating, patient, and friendly. The place is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and modern in the right ways while still feeling like you're in the wilderness.
We love this place! We had a great weekend at the river hut cabins. The cabins are right by the river for great view and quick access for wading. The restrooms are modern and clean - I enjoyed the showers each day. The staff are friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for calm swimming holes for the kids and they even mailed home a library book we left. We will be back to Yubaverse for sure!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Yubaverse! Just incredible. Gorgeous high-ceiling-ed wood cabin, full kitchen with everything we needed (including great coffee!), great bed/bedding/down quilts, and best of all, situated right on the flowing Yuba. So beautiful to sleep to the sound of the river rushing right below our deck & windows. Then wake up, and pop in for swim! We'll be back!!!
What a beaut! Located somewhere between a dream and reality is this perfect little escape. We had the incredible fortune of spending 5 nights here while celebrating our friends’ marriage, and my only regret is that it couldn’t last longer.
