This is a great place to visit for the day. We walked through the park, went down by the river. Children were enjoying swimming.People were fishing. Had lunch at The Guzzle. Awesome service, good food. If you visit stop at the museum in the hotel. The attendant was very informative. The only down side was the day we visited most of the shops (like paint your own pottery) were not open. Would definitely go again and consider renting a cottage or room a the hotel.
Beautiful village on a sleepy adorable island. People here always wonderful! Been coming every year for a decade, never gets old. So much nostalgia and so many great memories.
Great quite little town. 1 restaurant 1 ice cream parlor. Perfect in this little town you have boat rentals or bring your own . And the dock is the meeting place of the town .
Attended 8AM Mass at the Tabernacle this morning. Father LaBaff presided. His sermon was well reasoned and clearly stated. Sue Whitney led the singing. She is extraordinary.
I was there visiting my daughter and her family. They have a nice summer cottage. Great place for kids.
