Greeted by a welcoming staff. Park is nice. A ranger is always visible driving around the park. Some RV spots are not specifically outlined to ensure you are parked correctly, more like parking on the grass in different directions. Not a big deal but leveling is needed. There is a river around the park so bring your floats. There is an activity calendar with entertainment for all ages. I only stayed a week but will definitely visit again. 😊🚌

This was our first thousand trails destination after purchasing our membership and it was really amazing. We appreciated our stay even more after visiting a couple other thousand trails parks because Circle M isn't just a basic campground its a true RV resort with gated access and is clean. We loved tubing and paddleboarding in the river, collecting shells on the shore and enjoyed the spa and indoor and outdoor pools! Lots of families and great staff! We stayed down by the river for the first part of our visit and did see someone who chose a site, because they do allow you to choose your own site, under a tree sustain some serious damage to their camper during a storm from a treefall but when the weather got bad and the river was at risk of flooding the staff quickly moved us to higher ground to a safer campsite. Tons of great stuff to do in Lancaster. We had a great time.

I am part of the thousand trails cabin pass. We have stayed at many thousand trails locations already and Circle M was near where my wife and I grew up. After traveling 8ish hours from NC. We finally got to the campground last night around 530pm. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very polite. The drive through the trees into the main portion of the campground gave us high hopes. We read multiple reviews how nice this place was and all so we were all looking forward to this. Our cabin was M15. Semi easy to find using the map. The cabin seemed nice from the outside. Typical colony of ants and spiders. But nothing we did not expect. As soon as you opened the sliding glass door to the cabin, it had such a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. The inside also had a musky smell. Not something I expected since it's a smoke free cabin and all. Both my wife and I were overwhelmed that we bought air fresheners for the place. On my way to buy those materials, I stopped at the ranger station and just told them about our issue. They said they couldn't do anything about it for the night but at 9am I should get a phone call and seeing of we could move into a different cabin. Overnight, my wife, son and myself kept waking up and smelling a horrible musky/cigarette smell. No it's not a campfire or anything to that nature. After working in the emergency services it was defiantly a heavy cigarette/musky smell. 9am came around and went and no phone call. 10am we decided to pack up and leave. On my way out I stopped at the ranger station and told them we are checking out very early. They didn't ask why or had any concern whatsoever. We won't be back. Otherwise. I would have loved to explore the campground more as it did seem very nice.

This campground is on the high end as far as price. It's not what it used to be. This weekend the most activities I saw were illegal , I guess people had to make their own fun. . No security making rounds. They call " food trucks" activities. We came in on Memorial Day weekend, so you can imagine higher prices, but there was literally nothing to do the first day because the game room was closed, the store was closed, the activity center was closed. Friday's should be half the price. They opened a room and said here, you can play games or cards here. Site was small and water leaked, someone did come fix that though. Not worth the money at all.

This is a wonderful campground to stay at! We loved it here and will be back. There's so much to do. I was impressed with the customer service. They texted me their phone number in case I ever needed anything. I called twice for questions I had that I couldn't find on the website and they answered when I called. Very friendly over the phone. The front desk staff was also friendly. It was a very quiet and peaceful campground in the cabins we were in. One thing I would like to add is that I wish there was more information online about the cabins and cottages. The one we booked didn't have any photos so I wasn't even sure if it was a cabin or not and what it looked like inside. It helps when you have kids to figure out how everyone is going to sleep. It would be awesome if the listings said which cabin you were getting along with a map. I had a hard time trying to find a map online anywhere. I had to call the help desk to ask them where my cabin was because my mom wanted one close to me. Also, in the email you get before the stay, I would like if it said the check in time. I think these things would be really helpful for the future. Thank you for providing a safe and fun place for us to stay!
