Diamond Caverns is a nice little campground with plenty of amenities and places to go. The playground is nice for the kids and there is a mini-golf course, horse shoe pits and a swimming pool. All of the buildings are dated but are very well maintained. Vicky and I used the showers in the clubhouse and there was plenty of hot water and the showers were clean. Make sure you go to the Diamond Cavern for a tour. It is magical.
Great location for visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. This Park is clean and well cared for. Staff is friendly. Laundry is sufficient. Showers are clean but small. Definitely visit Diamond Caverns while you're here, as well.
Terrible terrible wifi. Paid for the extended wifi (not offered at the campground). Paid for one week service. I called twice the first day once the second day with no callback. they called me back four days later At 7:30 in the morning. the four days so far, Only one day we’ve been able to watch television. Don’t waste your money.
This is a small but very nice RV park very close to the Mammoth Cave National Park. It is quiet and well kept! Some sites were not level and with a class A it was a bit hard to get level in some spots. Management was outstanding! I had a medical issue and had to stay a few extra days for doctor visits, and they found ways to extend my stay despite it being booked out for TT. Thanks so much, especially to Penny! I will definitely come again when I get to the area!
Staff was helpful showing us how to best get into our site. Everyone was super friendly. We had a great stay.
This campground is very run down. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beware you have to pay for the WiFi, as a member I find that irritating. However we had good cell service and were able to use our hotspot with zero issues. We could not get level no matter what we tried and the gravel was very loose so it was hard to ride our e bikes and motorcycles. Pool was clean, bathrooms were ok. Mini golf in bad shape and buildings need a lot of repair. We actually considered leaving and going to another nearby campground. We did leave a day early.
My wife and I stayed 4/19-26. The lady in the office was very helpful at check in and lead us to our site. Our site was very difficult to get our rig level. The campground is not well maintained and the buildings were rundown looking. Wanted to play miniature golf but the course is in terrible condition. A plus is that we took the tour of Diamond Caverns and enjoyed that a lot.
We were on A7 for 2 nights. Only bad thing surge protector tripped out because of the high voltage on L2 overnight. Went on batteries for the night, no issues.
