Customer Reviews
This could be such a great campground! It was a swamp after a day of rain. Some sites were not useable. Sites are very close together. The road getting into the campground was full ..I mean full of pot holes and huge ruts. Inside the campground was not much better. Several of the seasonal spots were trashy and not kept up Again with some rules in place I would think that problem could be solved It’s really unfortunate because w the trees it could be a really beautiful place.
This is a campground so no rooms or service. The facilities were nice and clean, plus they have a snack bar near the pool. Lots of washers and dryers in the laundry room. Also, it's close to both Boston and the Cape. The main office people were extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative we had was we parked our travel trailer in B54 which is next to a permanent site and the guy came over and said we were in "his parking space"! We told him we were parked in front of our trailer and to the left of our electric meter (if you're looking at the site from the road) so not sure what he meant. He said he always parks there and we needed to move our truck. We did since we didn't want to argue with him. Well after that we think he was being a jerk since he would leave every morning at 6am and slam his door and make a lot of noise right outside our bedroom window. Other than that, it was a nice place.
Great place to get away and relax. Clean and tidy cabins. Brought my dogs along and they absolutely loved it and had so much fun. Plan on going again this summer when the weather is warmer. Thank you
We stayed at this campground for the first time recently and enjoyed our visit for the most part. The downfalls of this campground are that cell service is extremely limited and they lock the laundry room at 8pm every night. Other than those issues I would have left a 5 star. The camp is perfectly situated between Boston and Cape Cod so you can have the best of both worlds.
This was the perfect place for our entire family to spend two weeks while exploring Cape Cod and Boston! Our stay at the Thousand Trails Gateway to Cape Cod Campground was an absolute delight. With top-notch staff, clean facilities, and a serene setting, it provided an excellent home base. The pool was refreshing, and our kids had a blast. An exceptional campground that ensured our time in Cape Cod was unforgettable. Keep in mind this is a family campground. It's not particularly loud, but it's no retiree rv resort. It's not a concrete setting, it's a wooded campground setting. We had a great time here and will definitely stay again. While the road getting into the campground isn't perfect, it was definitely manageable, even in our 13'6" tall 44' long Class A which was also towing our van. Check-in was simple. Our site in the A section provided plenty of space and was very level. For anything negative about this place it was offset and made better by such a great and friendly staff. We truly felt like they cared about us and they were there to help us with anything we needed.
