I drive about 3 hours from PA to Lake and Shore campground. My family has been going here since my grandparents were young. It is always a great experience. I ran into some trouble booking through thousand trails. When I got to the campground, the office was closed and Sammie and Tabitha came in late to try and help me out. It took a while, but everything worked out. I am so grateful for these ladies and especially Tabitha and Cindy for not giving up and making sure everything was figured out for me to have a great vacation.

Cabin smells musty, all kitchenware had to be washed before use, and the staff was not friendly or welcoming. Check in not till 4pm and they wouldnt budge to let me check in early, when i went to office at 4pm on the dot, they were visibly upset and rudely announced they were about to close. Seasonal members start trouble, and the staff allows it to happen. Complaints made to this location directly and to TT went ignored.

Great campground with an awesome water park, lake, bike trail around the lake, mini golf, arcade and fun activities. Our neighboring campers didn't understand the meaning of quiet hours. Security came when we asked but the campers just turned their music back up when Security left. Life guard and snack shack staff could be improved. Overall, it was a great campground that we look forward to coming back to.

It is a nice campground but we went there for the amenities- the kids splash park and slides and due to staffing issues they were never open the 3 days we were there. Hugely disappointing. Also, the majority of the sites are seasonal so you only have a small area to choose from. Otherwise it's maintained, nice lake and big pool.

Cabins were very clean and amenities were great. Water park was open and pool area and playground areas clean. Our family has been coming for years. We appreciated some time in the lounge to have a family bingo. My only complaint was the bugs at the campsites - the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Lake & Shore, could you spray early in the season, to keep the bugs at bay?
