Wonderful little wooded live oak campground. Centrally located to Savanna, Charleston, Beaufort, and Tybee Island. Wonderful staff present a well maintained facility. Communication was great. We were informed of a water shutdown for repairs. Standing water in many places after a 2 1/2 inch snow event. The laundry room only had one washer functional. I enjoyed the stay overall and would definitely return.

We are TT members and needed a place to safely store our RV with an electric hookup while we spent Thanksgiving with friends an hour away in Bluffton. They have a $50 a week storage fee and we felt good knowing our RV was in a safe place and our fridge would keep running. The office staff is fantastic. She went out of her way to get us in a site after we discovered someone else had parked a utility trailer in our site and the owner couldn’t be found. The site was level and electricity worked fine. We walked around the park on arrival and before we left. The amenities are mostly closed for the season, but it looked nice. It’s a nice, shady park located near many interesting tourist destination.

This is an absolutely lovely Campground! Very peaceful nights. Staff was very accommodating. The staff showed us wonderful hospitality. We were able have our packages delivered to this campsite and they were kept in a safe and organized area until we picked them up from the clubhouse. The laundry facilities were very clean and well kept. Our dogs loved the off leash dog area! If you are new or experienced in RVing/Camping, this is a great start and a great place to stop. Beautiful nature, good people, and peaceful atmosphere! Thank you for the great stay at Thousand Trails Oaks at Point South!

Very small RV park. The spaces leave little to NO room to even extend the canopy. We ended up on a double site where 1 the power didn't work so had to use the 2nd site power because the other didn't have water. The water had a lot of air in line and took a while to get water flow in camper. The "lake" is like a stagnant pond. Over flowed with duck weed and tree stumps. No clearing to fish and even when we could get a line in NO fish. We saw an alligator and a few turtles. Not one fish. We left early was such a drag. Place is quite though

Not the greatest campground ever. But it was convenient and well located. It was a sister's camping trip and we needed a pull through site. This one is much quieter than the KOA at the same exit.
