Thousand Trails Scotrun

As with a lot of Thousand Trails it is lacking maintenance. The water slides have not worked for awhile. One pool was nice and the other was dirty. There are to many "residents" who have way to much stuff on their sites. It is supposed to be a campground which the "residents" seem to forget. Staff were super nice but if you want full hook ups you are away from everything. They do have a cable hook up which was nice to have.

Sites are small and you're on top of the campers next to you. Place was quiet and clean. Woman in the office was super nice.

Nice camp in the woods. Close to a lot of attractions, shopping and restaurants. Definitely needs maintenance lots of things out of order and in needs of cleaning and repair. The only worker I saw was at the welcome center and she was wonderful.

You are welcomed by a lovely personable office clerk, Cathy. She was remarkably helpful and gave us much insight into the area. Park is clean, restrooms were very clean and well kept. Amenities were not all opened yet, but this park looks like it would be an amazing place for families during the summer season. We will likely return here frequently.*****

Best RV Resort ! Quiet, peaceful, friendly staff, nice and super clean pools and slides, clean bathhouses, nice sites for RVs, beautiful Cabins, cozy laundromat and with lots of fun activities every weekend which will for sure, keep your family and friends busy and active. We bought a travel trailer and were looking for an RV campground in the Pocono Mountains. As I was searching for available campgrounds , I came across Scotrun RV Resort but it had a lot of OLD negative reviews about the previous management and staff. However , the newest reviews were positive and people were commenting about the campground having new management and new staff , so I focused on the positive things people were saying about them and decided to give it a try and believe me , it has been the best decision we’ve made. We love everything about Scotrun RV Resort. Liz, the new manager is very nice and down to earth. The lovely Staff Solomon, Larry , Mark , Cathy and Ray, are always willing to help you and with a smile on their face. They all make you feel comfortable and welcomed !

We had booked at a different campground and there was an issue with our reservation. We called Scotrun, and they accommodated us with a site for that day! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The campground is quiet but still has lots of fun things to do (catch and release lake, boating, gorgeous pool, huge activity room with toys for the big and little kids). A bonus was the cell service throughout the campground. Very conveniently placed. New favorite!

This Thousand Trails Campground is in a great location. Close to Indoor Waterparks with our Granddaughter. Close to casino when she's not along. Close to Outlet Stores in Tannersville. Not far off Rt 80. The employees go above and beyond to help with all your needs. The shower room is A+ , clean and great hot water. Nice place to see wildlife. Free cable TV. Only downside is they are not repairing the waterslides!

Scotrun is such a phenomenal campground. It’s been our favorite for over 40 years, mostly because of their incredible staff. We were trying to decide whether or not to get an annual site and Cathy could not have been more helpful. She and her husband went above and beyond the day we brought our Rv, explaining everything, bringing blocks to help us level etc. They are the perfect example of everything we love about camping!
