This place has a special place in my heart! I try to come back every summer! 100% would recommend but beware it can get super busy! The campsites are super spacious and it’s just all around a very beautiful place
Great family camp site. In June the water was chest high but slow enough to swim across. Small family kayaks or paddle boards would work great here. Campfires are regulated by the BLM but were permitted in the provided ring in mid June. Each site has a picnic table. Toilets are vaulted. It is a park and hike campsite. But no further than would be expected at many sites today anyways. 4 & 6 are large sites able to hold multiple tents.
Beautiful spot. Great campsite, the river is literally right there, for swimming, exploring , fishing, etc. Bathrooms are strategically placed, so nobody ever is walking too far to get to one. They were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. My teenage son did not want to go, but we ended up having a great time. He even loved it . It's too beautiful not to check out, even if you just utilize the day use areas.
A neat little campground along the Mololla River. It is a park and haul campground, so you will want to have some means of carrying your gear from your vehicle. The sites aren’t too far from the parking lot, it’s just not as simple as a park-in campground. The location is perfect for playing in the water. We went when it was very warm outside. The water was amazing. No cell service at the campground, so keep electronics at home. Outhouses don’t have water or sanitizer. Plan to bring something for your hands.
This place was beautiful. It was easy for the kids to walk and the dogs had a great time!
