We went ice fishing on the Blue Mesa with our guide Chad Stone . Chad went over and beyond to make things absolutely perfect. On top of that we caught fish and had lots of action. Chad really went out of his way to make this adventure perfect. Totally awesome experience.
Our family came here recently (2 adults plus 5 kids ages 7 to 17) to raft the lower Taylor River, and we were all really impressed with the service and care provided. Sam, our rafting guide, was amazing and did a great job making the trip fun for all of us! The lady who took the photos was also amazing and has an incredible artistic eye! Among the highlights that made this trip a wonderful family memory for us: 1) Despite my messing up and booking the wrong date by accident, Three Rivers accommodated us and shifted us by a day without batting an eye or charging us extra. Kudos to them because that was entirely my mistake. 2) Our river guide knew all the right questions to ask and exactly what to do to make sure everyone felt comfortable yet had the adrenaline rush one expects when whitewater rafting. Kudos to him because that's a difficult balance to strike - especially in a family setting with such a wide range of ages and abilities - but he did it and did it well. Both our 7-year-old and 17-year-old absolutely loved the trip. And the older kids now feel ready to tackle the "next level up" for our next whitewater trip which is perfect. 3) Mountain goats! Plus baby mountain goats! Highly recommend!
Was there for a 3 day fishing trip. Stayed in one of their smaller cabins. Cabin was older but in excellent condition. Full bathroom, small kitchen with everything including stove. Good parking and very close to main lodge and restaurant. Ate at restaurant several times. Food and service was great. Willow Fly fly shop and guide service is outstanding. 100% of staff members I interacted with at Three Rivers provided the best customer service….always willing to go the extra mile. Would highly recommend!!
Booked a guided fishing day with Matt and had a great time! Caught too many trout to count and a few salmon. He had great tips to improve my casting and stuck with me all day. He was super safety aware also. He showed us a few good fishing spots in the area and brought us to some great private fishing near his house which was great. Highly recommend the fly shop with great products and information on the area!
World class time fly fishing on a full day wake and wade with Eric up on the Taylor River tail water. It was just spectacular from the scenery, to how great Eric was with my wife and I coaching us on some of the finer points, his knowledge of the area, awesome river side lunch, and even landed some very nice fish through out the day- wife got a gorgeous cut throat. We fish a lot of places as a couple and this was tops in our book. Already talking about our next trip and booking a few days worth of float tripping. Thanks again for such a wonderful time.
