Sshhhh......... Don't tell a soul about this place! What a treasure. We stumbled across this little gem while hunting for a bathroom on the way to Tiller. Nice clean bathroom, lovely campsite with about 5 spots. What other facilities you may ask? Absolutely none!! That's the joy of it you see. Quiet, clean, right in the woods in the middle of nature. Of course there were picnic tables and BBQ stands at each camping spot. From what I could tell from a post the camping is free at the moment but will probably be fee paying in the near future. If you are looking for a bit of seclusion head over there and replenish your soul. 😀
This is a hidden gem campground. It is roughin it. No water, no cell phone service. Take a book or deck of cards. But if you truly want to get away this is the spot. Sites are level and have picnic tables. If you want to be close but away this is a good spot to check out.
Very peaceful. We were only ones there, except we had a Bigfoot spy on us. Didnt bother us, just watched.
This is a primitive campground, but it was a great experience being able to explore the trails and there's a lot of different mushrooms.
Very quite out of the way.
