Great campsites! There's tables and fire rings at each, easy access to water and bathrooms and a trail down to the reservoir. It also is really peaceful and quiet and the views are amazing. We'd definitely come back here!
We had campsite 13 with an amazing view of the lake. All campsites have picnic tables and a fire pit to grill. The restrooms smelled really fresh and were clean. At our campsite was the trail down to the lake. Down it takes about 10 minutes up about 20 minutes.
Last weekend was my birthday! I went early Friday morning to claim one of the first come first serve spots. Beatrice and Ron, the camp hosts, were angels and helped me have one of the most amazing birthday experiences I’ve ever had! They were kind and friendly and funny! The camp ground is immaculate as well! Bathrooms were sparkling clean every minute of everyday! The other camp parties were friendly! There is a beautiful trail down to the reservoir! I could not recommend this campground and these hosts more! They even spread the word that it was my birthday and I got multiple other people from other camps coming by to wish me happy birthday! It was amazing! Highly recommended!
Fabulous location with beautiful scenery- well worth the bumpy road to get there! Easy hike down to the lake that was fantastic for my kids via the marked trail from camp. Good spacing for our tents and hammocks at site 20, plus right next to water, trash, and the bathrooms made it a winner for our family.
