DO NOT PAY MORE THAN A DAY AT A TIME!! LOST OVER $4500.00!!! We were looking for a place to stay for approx. 2 months they had us moving from spot to spot, did NOT save us ANY money bc we were charged daily & weekly rates. Made us pay in full at the time of booking. Over $4500!! When our friends said we could stay with them a few days later after we the reservation we were told no refunds & if we wanted a credit we'd have to use it by the end of the year, a few months from then. No customer service, no working with us, no leeway, no meeting in the middle, no understanding. I posted a picture showing our receipt to prove what Im saying. Unbelievable!
Although I have never stayed there, I can only comment on the location, as I have visited friends and family members over the past 16 years who have stayed there. I cannot comment on the rooms or service, but they do provide an amazing location, RV hookups and the grounds are kept tidy. All in all, it is a nice place to stay if you are looking for somewhere to put your RV in Campbell River.

We were booked at site 37. The sewer next to our water/power is being used by number 38. Since we couldn’t hook up our sewer we moved over to 36. I came to the office in the morning to advise and was met with a lot of attitude. The woman “helping” me said she’d need to charge me more for a 50 amp service. I came back later as I was a little confused. We were plugged into a 30 amp plug, not 50. The woman I had been dealing with in the morning came out , and again was incredibly rude. We planned our stay with you based on an ad in a travel guide(the same one you have in your office) When I first called I was told no way you’d honour that, we still decided to try a couple nights, then possibly stay a month or 2. I can say we won’t be back again. I had washed two small blankets and the machine did not spin, your staff made me feel like it was my fault, that the blankets were too big. They were small , light blankets. And when moved to another machine, spun just fine. All in all very poor customer service.
Any business that asks for me to send them my credit card information over the phone or via email and does not have a secure online payment process is a red flag to me. Folks, do not give these people your payment information over the phone or via email. It’s not secure and it puts your financial information at risk!! This is not a good business practice.
