Timber Pointe Resort

Perfect location on Lake Cumberland for fisherman and lake lovers !! right up The hill..if your have a boat they have plenty of room to park and we’re kind enough over two trips to let me park close and print of outlets to charge my boat! The price for the stay is well worth it! It’s peaceful ! Also good food is close by , the Reel Java was I think less then 5 minutes and your can get mainly anything you want there ! Gas was close as well!! I’d highly recommend for anyone taking an outdoors trip! I’ve stayed now 2ntrips in 3 weeks! Also very kind staff , let my Dad check in hair early being tired and bottom fooor because of age ..offered the early check in a hair without asking which was kind !

Is there wasn't anything else working down there a couple things I know, I wouldn't want my vehicles down there because of who is running it now & she's not nothing to brag about. And not to mention, I went down there the other day and the grounds are pitiful. It has not been kept up at all. That place has went to hell (literally) since the last owners sold it. It's hard to believe the change in Timber Pointe over the last year. Unbelievable!! I don't see how it's still up & running. It truly breaks my heart to see it like this. It was such a a beautiful place before when Heather & Al had the property. 😞

We had a great visit. Quiet, romantic, restful, respite, respectful, loving, Santa hideout!!

Love love loved Timber Point! Amanda was the best! The rooms were so cozy and clean! The only suggestion I have is that you have to at least get vending machines of so kind. No one delivers there at all and no restaurant. So FYI...I know they are thinking of opening a restaurant and that's a must in my opinion. So FYI for now to stay there ....just take your own food! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Revised the last time we stayed here was early Summer 2023 The experience was not good bed bugs and no staff on site for 3 entire days . They didn't forget to charge the room balance though to my card . No clean towels ,no clean anything. We used to love staying here once upon a time . But multiple owners in a short amount of time run this place down . Plus they added campers right behind the lodge suites it has really ruined what was once a really great place to stay. I edited this review so it is accurate in relation to our last stay here . People work hard for their money so reviews should be accurate to the last experience. Hopefully they have fixed alot of these problems .But we quit going here after about 7 years or more of only staying here. The owners were not friendly the last time couple times we stayed here I think they were from up North . Previously all the owners were very friendly. Kim and Mike also Joe and her husband. Hopefully the newest owner has turned it around .I see the rates have jumped up quite a bit. We certainly miss the Timberpointe we loved staying at thats for sure.
