Customer Reviews
This is a very scenic lake and also the area around the lake. It's surrounded by hills that you can hike, but the trails or paths are not maintained or marked. The terrain is rugged and steep. There are rock formations and a cave on the south part of the lake in the hills. The lake has a small dock and boat ramp. The north side of the lake is where these are located along with a restroom and parking area. There is also a parking area below the dam. The north side of the lake has a private road and private cabins.
This is a nice quite lake. The FS page says there is camping, but in my December 2024 visit, I did not see any indications of camping availability.
Lake is closed as of April 2025. The one star is to alert users of closure and note that there was never camping at this location.
