Jody (sp?) and Dennis are over-the-top friendly and hospitable, but run a tight ship, as needed, which makes for a pleasant stay each time. I’ve been staying here for so many years I’ve lost track - at least a decade or 2. They are friendly, caring, responsive owners that always provide clean rooms at a great price and care about keeping their guests satisfied to the best of their ability. Although I’ve only stayed there to fish the lake, I see it’s a family-friendly place (lots of families here in warm months, but never annoying). For the price, I’ve never slept on a more comfortable mattress.
Best staff I've ever had. Monday night is minnow races, and all of the guests played. Kid friendly, quiet, and off the beaten path. Will definitely stay again.
Timber Ridge Resort is a great value for lodging and family fun. It is very neat, clean and well maintained and has activities for kids and the whole family to enjoy. Our room and the pool were both very clean. The owners and staff are very friendly and great to visit with. The wooded areas on the property are very pretty, with birds, squirrels and rabbits to enjoy. They even have two llamas and a game room for kids and adults to enjoy. For fishermen they have a nice fish cleaning facility.
Timber Ridge Resort is hands down the nicest, cleanest and best run resort in the entire Mark Twain Lake coverage area. Their accommodations are always spotless and frequently updated. Their staff, from the owners to the housekeepers, are extremely friendly, professional and competent. The grounds are immaculate and you can always count on a quiet, enjoyable experience whenever you stay at Timber Ridge. They accommodate groups large and small and are very family oriented. You can't go wrong booking a stay at Timber Ridge!!!
Great place to stay near the lake. Nice pool, clean accomodations. 5 minutes from the boat launch, and plenty of space to park your boat and trailer. The units could use some updating and better cookware. We've stayed here a couple times over the years and have never been disappointed.
