Timberline Glamping at Amicalola Falls

What a great experience! We chose to stay on a night that got very cold, 28 degrees. 🥶 When we arrived the tent was very cozy, they had 2 heaters running and it was very comfortable in there. It was me, my husband, our 15 y/o son and our 11 y/o daughter, we all really enjoyed glamping. The beds were really comfortable. We dressed warm when we went to bed and kept the heaters running and it wasn’t that bad, we’re from Florida so it was pretty cold to us but we made it and really enjoyed our time there. The day we arrived we went up to The Lodge, the views were beautiful, we had dinner, food was okay and the next day we went to the waterfall, it was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Took comfort to an all new level for camping. Customer service was accessible and helpful. The booking process was a breeze and the website was very navigable. Instructions for the stay and check in were a little verbose and convoluted but very thorough and in the end appreciated. There seems to be a mild disconnect between the glamping host team and campsite host/visitor center team regarding fire wood and parking but it was all good . 5/5 would recommend to a friend, family member or even stranger. Will stay again sometime soon.

Loved it! Had Glamping tent # 5 at Amicalola Falls Stste Park. Beautiful! Only brought a backpack! Everything was provided. Bed was wonderful! Loved the site, the tent, the outdoors, cooking over an open fire, the leaves, the falls, the lodge, and the trails!

Out tent, furnishings, and surroundings were true to the park photos. The park lodge, visitor center and trail to the falls were excellent with good information from the visitor center on hikes. Our family had a great time at the tent site from roasting marshmallows to playing corn hole and Jenga. The kids were impressed with everything and the adults enjoyed all the comforts, especially the beds. Be sure to view a spectacular sunset on the lodge overlook. Meals at the lodge were fairly priced with good choices.

What an unexpected treasure. Only 25 minutes from our house, but we felt like we were hundreds of miles away. It was perfectly appointed, and I could not believe how large the tent was. Actually so much more room that we needed and we could’ve brought both of our kids. Everything you could ever want for a glamping experience and we will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic 1-night glamping at Amicalola with Timberline Glamping. The #3 tent was clean and the second-closest to the restrooms. Directions & info sent via email were very informative and helpful. Loved the giant ConnectFour rental and option to have firewood ready and waiting. My daughter loved the diffuser and desk area as well. It exceeded our expectations & we will be back again for a longer stay.

Practical Furnishings: A small study table provided a convenient spot for playing cards and organizing our small items, while the mini-fridge was perfect for keeping drinks and snacks chilled. This setup allowed us to significantly lighten our packing list. We only needed to bring our cooking gear, food, and entertainment, leaving the bulky shelter and bedding items behind. We brought our own firewood, and ending the day around a crackling fire before retiring to a comfortable bed was the perfect combination of rustic camping and modern comfort. Location and Convenience The location is simply unbeatable for exploring the park. A brief, 10-minute walk is all it takes to reach the breathtaking top of Amicalola Falls. For meals, a decent selection of restaurants is just a 15-20 minute drive away, offering a nice break from camp cooking if you desire. Glamping with Timberline at Amicalola Falls was an awesome experience! The location is perfect. It wasn't a far walk from our tent to the bathhouse. The campsite is not located far from the top of the water fall. I like the option for add-ons. I purchased the scavenger hunt boxes for the kids and they loved it. The field behind the tent was perfect. I was able to relax on the deck and watch the kids run around and play. It was peaceful and quiet. The space was very clean and neat. The beds were so confortable! I love the app that Timberline provides before your trip. It includes information and answers all questions you need to know before, during, and after your stay.
