10/10 would highly recommend Timberline Glamping Cheaha! We had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. I was worried about sleeping in a tent with temps getting into the low 30's. But with the 2 space heaters that were provided, we were very comfortable. I especially loved the little touches, like coffee provided and the cute personalized welcome sign. Our tent was pretty close to bathrooms and showers, which was convenient. The showers at the camp ground didn't get very warm, but it was manageable. We had a great time and will definitely do it again!
Had a great time bringing in the New Year Glamping! Our tent was perfect with a view of the lake off of the back porch. The beds were comfy and warm. Closely located to multiple trails to take in all of the nature of Cheaha. The kids loved the hammock and roasting marshmallows around the camp fire, we will definitely be back!
We LOVED Glamping on Mt Cheaha with our family thanks to Timberline. The tent was beautiful and kept us safe through one rough storm and several cold nights. Our children loved laying in the hammock and we loved the family time and stories by the fire. We had a great experience and we will definitely be back.
The best camping experience ever! They thought of everything , so cute inside! Mattress was so comfy. It was crazy cold outside but snuggly inside, out of the wind with the heaters. Highly recommend!! Note that the pic of the tent was after we moved in…the beds were cuter when we first arrived. Our family of 5 fit perfectly!
We had a wonderful stay! I was worried because the temperature got down to 24° at night but we were warm and cozy in the tent. The sheets were super soft and the mattress was fantastic. Climbing into bed felt luxurious after a long day hiking. We slept great!
Glamping experience was outstanding. We were at site 40. King bed and four bunk beds was perfect for teenage boys and adult. The extra details of a hammock, outside chairs, picnic table, fire pit, small fridge and AC were so nice.the entire place was clean, inside and out. The park bathhouse was within 100 steps. The park itself is gorgeous with lots of wooded trails and great views. We will be back!
We recently stayed at site 10, Cheaha. The tent and furnishings were great. The issue is the site. The tent and tie downs take up almost the entire site. Not enough parking space for a full size vehicle, even a small vehicle would block the porch. If it had not been that the ranger allowed me to park in another vacant site there would have been no place for me to park. The picnic table is squeezed in behind the tent but you have to walk outside of the site to get to it, basically unusable. The fire pit is also behind the tent with no room to put a chair. Not what I expected.
Such a fantastic getaway for the boys! We had one of our yearly guys weekends and everything was perfect! Cheaha is the perfect place to get away and just reset. Definitely will be returning!
