Nothing fancy here but by far the best campsite I stayed at during my vacation that I used 8 different campgrounds. My site was clean spacious and fit my Rockwood 2109S camper perfect. There are 3 very nice hiking trails nearby, Its a few miles down a dirt road I wish I had stayed a couple of more days There is no water or electric but the site and location more then made up for it. We had no Verizon cell phone coverage but for us that was not a problem.
Secluded but easy to find. The popular hikes in the canyon were full of people, but this campground was away from it all, and surprisingly easy to secure a site even in July.
Secluded and very quiet. It is not easy to get to and there are not many campsites but this makes it all the better. Nice level spots in the campsites for tents and fire rings if you want to have a campfire. Went the first week of June and was still in the 30's at night.
This 7 space primitive campground is in a relatively quiet place. It's near a wonderful hike that starts and ends right next to the site. It has water during the season, but it had just been turned off for the season when we arrived. That also made the site free! to use. There is a beautiful little creek next to the site. There are ATVs that go by regularly on the road during daylight hours. An ATV rental place is at the beginning of the road into the campground. This is one of two campgrounds on this stretch of road. Most of the sites are big enough for pull behind campers. Most are level for tents, which we had. There is a unisex bathroom (no water) that is well maintained during the season, but I don't think they check it after the water is turned off. Highly recommend.
Beautiful campground! It's very small, maybe 8 sites is all. But it's nice and it's really in the middle of nowhere. Surrounding area is very nice as well. It's remote, but not too far from civilization if you want to get some food or supplies. All sites are first come, first served.
