Customer Reviews
The campground is very well kept. Everyone visiting is so humble. The bathrooms are kept clean and stocked. Had a chance of running into the owner and she was very nice and answered any questions we had. There is a little area for the kids to swim as well as the playground at the campground. Will definitely be visiting again. They have a small communal stand by the bathrooms with some veggies and small business items for sale.
We love spending time at this campground. My kids could spend all day jumping in the river or riding their bikes around the campground. The area is always clean and well taken care of. The mud kitchen is also a big hit and i love seeing little kids play together at it! We have never had any issues when we stay here and look forward to coming back next year!
Tippecanoe River run is a great place to camp! The owner & her family are very welcoming. Making sure you enjoy your stay! The campground overall is very clean. Even after the storm this past summer it was tended to asap. Bathrooms are very clean. Cleaned daily & stocked up. Might I add the convenience of more then one bathroom stall & shower! The playground is well cared for. The mud kitchen is the bomb for my children!!! Nothing like watching a child be happy while they're jumping off a rope into the river or just playing in the creek! Never had any problems with loud music, dogs barking, or loud children. Lol except A vindictive EX Camper (Erin A) who liked to stir up trouble. Overall this is a great place to take your family and enjoy nature and it's surroundings with meeting great people who make you feel welcome! Thanks Tippecanoe River Run we will be back next year AGAIN!!!!! 🚣🏼♀️🚴🏼♀️🏕️
Beautiful Peaceful place on the Tippecanoe River. Excellent river access parked truck at the Germany Bridge county park (3.7 miles by road), rode bicycle back to camp ground then kayaked a 2 hour river trip to the county park. Some sites are nestled in the trees keeping a very natural landscape, very nice modern playground, great Verizon phone service, wonderful helpful host & affordable wood.
I have been here visiting friends and I have major concerns. The main issue is the water septic issues. The smell and how dirty the water is was very concerning. Also knowing the septic tanks have NEVER need cleaned or emptied is VERY concerning! This needs to be looked into ASAP! My other issues were the rudeness with the Managment, seemed to play favorites. Some of the seasonal owners there also made us feel uncomfortable with their loudness, decorations and flags. The sites are very uneven and not advertised correctly on their website. The playground there is so old and dangerous for my children with the sharpness of the corners. Overall not much to do there, what is there is very old and dilapidated.
I love camping here. It’s family friendly that offers newly renovated bathrooms with 2 shower stalls that are very handy. My grandkids are always begging to go here. There are always other children to play with, whether it’s the mud kitchen, the creek and rope jump. It’s located directly in the Tippecanoe River where we like to fish and (kayak's are available to rent). Many families rent the same spot every year and enjoy their neighbors. There are picnic tables, fire circle to prepare food, especially hot dogs and smores! Some of the children camping with families stop to say hi to their neighbors. There are faucets available and the water is drinkable. Never had any issues and we enjoy their owners kindness and quick responses to questions. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, it’s mowed regular and they have had numerous get together where guests and owners invite everyone to come. They always have a Halloween trick or treat party with food truck. Often we stop to see the owners who always welcome us back each season. They have a nice family and are all friendly. We can also take the dogs if they are kept on leash or tied up. Most campers take their dogs inside at night and all is quiet, to sit around a campfire. Can’t wait to get back this season!
Great quiet place! Has a play ground and kayak rental with quiet relaxing atmosphere! The restrooms were way cleaner than expected!!! Can't wait to take the kids for the next trip 🤗
We stayed at this lovely site for one night on our drive across country from California to New York. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and led us to the most beautiful, quiet spot right on the river to set up camp. The bathrooms and showers were clean and easy to access, and we loved the fun activities, particularly the mud kitchen. We enjoyed every second of our time here and can't wait to visit again one day!
