This is a rustic, dry campground so plan on bringing everything to be self-sufficient. There is no bathroom so either educate yourself on how to properly use the bathroom outside (don't poo on the surface and don't leave toilet paper or wet wipes laying around) or bring wag bags, a cassette toilet, etc. Also, bring your own water. There are a lot of fox tails so watch your dog's ears and nose as those can cause health issues. We visited mid-Oct and had the place to ourselves which was quite peaceful. Dirt bike riders will zip by occasionally. The fire pits are brand new and the picnic tables are nice. This campground is not suitable for large trailers or campers. Small trailers (ours is 12') or those tent camping or using overland vehicles will be best suited to this campground.

There are 5 spots to park and camp, with picnic tables and metal fire pits, fire is only allowed in the pits. Carry plenty of water for drinking and cooking and enough to put the fire out, the rangers don't allow puting the fire out with soil.

Road hasn't been graded in a while but I saw a Camaro manage it l, albeit unhappily. There are no facilities and only a few spots. But my biggest complaint was the lack of toads; I feel cheated.

Great little campground! Worth the drive to get there! It's small but they have lots of hiking trails and birds to watch. Very quiet not many people come by, definitely worth checking out!

Three camping spots. Poorly graded, not for trailers. No water or toilets.
