Wonderful little campground with access road opposite the Tower Falls General Store. There are a relatively few campsites in one loop, with the only services available being pit toilets and drinkable water spigots. A friendly campground host greeted me as I pulled up, and invited me to walk or drive around and look at the available sites. The sites were all big enough to fit our 19 foot long RV, and many were shaded by nice tall trees. Camping there was very quiet. Easy to drive to the General Store for quick food like hot dogs and ice cream. Showers are further to the north at the Roosevelt Lodge, where a nice sit-down restaurant and horse riding can be enjoyed. FIrst come, first served, so get here early.

Host was very polite and helpful for finding local wildlife. It's a fairly basic campground with just vault toilets and potable water taps. Didn't have any problems with other campers or wildlife. I was told the campground is frequented by black bears so they are very strict when it comes to food/scented items. I would recommend to others.

My favorite campground in Yellowstone. No wifi, less crowds, quick access to all points of interest. People lined up starting at 6am to grab a spot (first come first serve), great location. Close to Tower Fall General Store. Keep in mind there are no flush toilets or showers here. There is running water and drinking water.

Primitive campground, and only 20 spaces so it fills up fast. We booked lodgings at nearby Roosevelt Lodge on a Tuesday in early June, then drove the two miles from there to Tower Falls the next morning at 7:30 a.m. There were three campsites scheduled to vacate that day, and two people in line in front of me. I waited two hours and got the third (and last) one by 9:30 a.m. There was also a handicap accessible campsite which was available for rent on the stipulation that if someone with a disability sticker showed up and requested that site they would have the right to kick out the person in it if that person did not have an official disability sticker. There was also a small grassy area for hikers and bikers to camp in. The Tower Fall General Store is located along the Grand Loop Road at the base of the campground road, and a good place to go ft or ice cream. We had made reservations at Canyon Campground just in case Tower was full, and managed to use the payphone at Tower to cancel those (for a $25 cancellation fee) once we secured the Tower Fall site. The Tower Fall site is a great base location for the following trails: Lost Creek/Petrified Tree; Tower Fall hike; Yellowstone Picnic Area Trail; Trout Lake; the Lamar Valley; and several others. The restrooms were pit toilets, but clean. Not all the campsites had water spouts, and we had to put all our stuff in bear boxes (even pkastic boxes that did not contain food).

Brilliant place to camp. Get there early because it fills up fast. Campgrounds are shady and well drained. Food storage containers are very handy as animals do roam through the area. The local store has lots of supplies and is a great place to fill water bottles with fresh, cold water. It's also a great place with flushing toilets for those who don't like drop toilets

The campground host was so nice and checked in on us. There are many bears in the upper Yellowstone loop going there and nearby when we were out driving and walking. The views up there are gorgeous and it’s nice and quiet and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest I’ve seen in campgrounds.

Great campground and host, lots of bear activity. The sites were good for 1 tent but hard to fit 2 tents.
