We were looking for a nice and quiet campground where we could visit Devils Tower and other local attractions in a reasonable amount of time. This place is perfect. It is clean, well managed, level and all hook ups work. Our site was dead flat and backed up to the Belle Fourche River. You can also take your dog for a short walk along the river which was super nice. Clean up after your dog! The host was super helpful and very nice. One complaint would be that it is not very well marked from the road, which ironically is only 10 steps away, and some people missed the entry. It is easy to navigate within the park and our site was back-in. We have a 43 ft motorhome with a towed vehicle and had plenty of room for the week we were there. Devils Tower is 10 min away, and Spearfish was right about an hour. We also went to Deadwood and it took us an hour and 15 min. Downtown Hulett has a small general store and a couple shops. We were there for a week - the week before bike week in Sturgis. So for a 3 - 4 days, we got to hear a constant parade of unmuffled v-twin bikes accelerate out of the small town of Hulett on the way to DTNM. Anyway, this small park is highly recommended.

This is a pleasant place to stay when you’re looking to visit Devils Tower or even pop over to rapid city, SD. No WiFi and t-mobile signal is almost non existent, so bring cards or something for entertainment. The picnic table by the river was a nice place to eat lunch and relax. Hookups are hit and miss, if I would have known, I’d have chosen spot 1,3 or 5 for my sewer hookup with a lower to the ground connection

Free wifi and military discount. We stayed here one night just to visit Devil Tower. $45 next to the river, but there are multiple fees added like pet, booking platform,...etc.

Pretty good spot, seemed fairly new and only a few other campers were set up. All the hook-ups were easy to get hooked up to and in the right places…We stayed over a long weekend. It was mostly quiet, right next to a small stream. Theres a mom and pop gas station next door which was convenient. Bring something for flies, they seemed excessive. Bars and pretty much anything else in Hulett is a short walk. I’ll stay again!

This is a decent, no frills FHU spot to explore the area. A couple good restaurants and the gas station in front, where you check in, has a nice selection of convenience and food items. Loved the area and it was quiet at night. Added bonus... Turkeys strolling through the RV park. Be careful when you book as to which side the hookups are on.
