My wife and I, and our dog, stayed at Trading Post Resort for two nights in early May. The stay exceeded our expectations. Everything was as described, and we had a quiet, peaceful, and cozy visit. We even had a warm welcome from Andy when we got there, despite the fact that it was very late at night and cold and snowy. We hope to come back soon.

This place is an absolute gem. It's my favorite place on planet Earth. The owners are amazing, and the cabins are extremely cozy, and the views are breathtaking. If you enjoy the mountains, this is the place to be

Best time of the year was August. Plenty of moose watching up at the passes! Charming, clean, and convenient location. We drove over to Rocky Mountain National Park one day, too. And Walden, Colorado +Moose Visitor Center another day. The entire river is charming, shops, and a restaurant. The cafe in Walden had great food, too. We visited Rustic and Red Feather lakes easily from here, also. Chipmunks here at the cabins and not many bugs. The cool nights here are refreshing. Has camp store. Rustic, Quiet, Beautiful!
