Had some family go up for a family reunion and at first I was worried because my family and I are naturally loud and most places don't like it. But trail in welcomed all kids, made sure my daughter was set for the pool even tho the mountain air and water were crispy lol she still jumped in. It was a blast I got to make memories with family I haven't got to do since I was my kids age. I left not wanting to wait to plan another family gathering at trail inn. The manager was so amazing. My kids loved it n all begging me to plan another trip specifically at trail inn. I'm sorry but my kids don't like anywhere this is the first place they hangout without fighting made memories without them making each other mad. It was the best experience for me my family especially for my kids. Can't wait to go back.
l first came to the :trail inn: more than fifty years ago when it was just the trail inn no RV park an old bar on the oregon trail. l have watched all the changes back in 2004 l spent a summer there in my motorhome . Back then l would not come back for 25 years in a row l came to the lake to water ski and camp . I've seen most campgrounds and RV parks . The trail inn has definitely come a long way .for the good l might add the management there is very friendly and outgoing and done a great job with the grounds and landscaping even the pool is looking good with a small store and supplies ive been there several times in past couple years and all is good and we had fun !
Easy access off of I-5, quiet, beautiful little park in the woods. Gravel road, bathrooms being upgraded, large sites, small amount of road noise which is more background noise. Park manager is attentive and wants to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Great prices. Feels like home away from home.
Honestly the nicest, cutest, peacefulist place I have been to in a long time. The regulars that live there, are so sweet and very helpful. The new manager rashell is amazingly sweet. She's very helpful and informative. She's new to the area but seems to have hit the ground running and turned that cute store into something worth checking out. Great prices, friendly faces, get treated like family. Just had a big family gathering and it was amazing I got to see family I haven't seen in a long time make memories and told stories that had me laughing so hard I cried. U want a great family gathering place to go to take your family to trail inn u won't regret it.
Spent 1 night here while traveling through the area. Found the owner quite personable and helpful when pointing out the many things to do in the area. He's just taken the site over recently so there were just the 10 or so pull through sites out front. Once he gets the other campsites set up, and upgrades the bathrooms and pool, it will be a better place to stay.
