I love this place! I’ve been coming here for over 25 years! For a dive weekend, this is the perfect spot for a large group. The large kitchen, seating areas and deck spaces are perfect!! I only wish the beds were a little more comfortable. The view off the back of the Lodge is absolutely breathtaking!

We stayed here as a very convenient spot to sleep for the early ferry departure next morning. The room was somewhat clean - they could have done a better job with vacuuming. Bathrooms are very small, which is fine, but they could have done a better job cleaning the hair out of the sink and tub. Somewhat noisy - I'm a heavy sleeper but would not recommend if you are easily awakened by noises throughout the night. Bed comfort is just okay. Great location if you want to explore Tobermory. Not my first choice for over night accommodations but we did not want to sit in traffic the next day (so much road construction!!) so figured this was the least stressful option.

Very nice owners! Didn't realize the cottage was a duplex with the owners attached but they were awesome and this didn't bother us.Beautiful sunsets and sunrises - no dock but rock areas where you can enjoy the water and sunset! There is a BBQ to use. We had 6 guests and had lots of space ! Super clean. Lots of cleanTowels :) Thanks for an awesome time!

Not for divers! The place is clean and well-kept. However, if you come here during hot/humid weeks, you won’t get enough rest at night to be in top shape for diving: there are no ACs, so if you open a window, you might be up until 1am from people talking outside, the guests who come up and down the stairs at 2am also don’t seem to care about making noise. If you’re a heavy sleeper who doesn’t mind heat and humidity, you might be ok, but because of lack of sleep I couldn’t perform my best during the dives. The place is ok for hanging out in the summer, but if you want proper rest, find a quiet motel with an AC.

Great historic lodging on the shores of Georgian bay. I have stayed here many times for the the last 10 years mainly for diving purposes. The site has the feel of an old school in with some 10 bedrooms and is able to accommodate large groups. And offers incredible views of the Georgian bay that can be accessed by the boardwalk outback. Site has 3 bathrooms, 1 fairly large kitchen, with kitchenette and wifi
