We stayed on a houseboat. It was awesome, super clean, and also had a beautiful view. If in the area again I would definitely stay again.

Great place to relax and enjoy the lake. They have cabins and houseboat for rent. 2 loose scrooze houseboat is available on air bnb. Sunsets are amazing, and fishing is great.

Since hurricane Michael, it has gone downhill .. Those beautiful towering pines are no more. Management has changed hands. It is not the same .. sadly .. it doesn't have the same atmosphere. On the positive side .. the fishing is still great ~~ !! There is no Hotel or Motel at the Trails End Resort & Campground. You may be able to rent a Houseboat .. they were nice. As far as I remember, there are no boats to rent. BYO. The restaurant was fair, at best. but I haven't been there since 2018 .. things can always change .. hopefully for the better (

The house boats were amazing. Nice and clean. Perfect for a couple! Everyone was very polite and accommodating. Docs Grille had really good food. Spent 3 days here fishing and relaxing. Only thing that could have been better is maybe cable and WiFi. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back !…

These are cabin set ups near the lake with a central restaurant. Things to note, zero reception for phones and zero internet. Be aware. There is nothing around you in terms of food options. The restaurant is fair, at best. The cabins are very dated and in need of serious repairs. When you pull up, it almost looks abandoned. Cabin 7 specifically had an entire bedroom with zero working outlets. The fan with 4 light bulbs didnt come on, the two outlets in the kitchen dont work. There were 2 total outlets functioning. There is no furnace. Its tiny outdated floor heaters and ancient AC units hanging barely from the windows. Towels are pinned up covering the windows. It is not well stocked with supplies either so be weary of that. The communication is nonexistent from the staff although they are very polite when you talk to them. I had to call several times to reconfirm they had our reservation. Just know what you are getting into before coming here. It is in a very serious need of total gutting and rebuilding. You get what you pay for but unfortunately its really the only option you have around there.
