Customer Reviews
Got broken branches that have been hanging for 2 weeks, with an elderly woman who lives right there and seems to be to complicating of a task for the park manager to take care of. Ignore your phone calls when help is needed. Whoever manages the park needs to be more helpful to its older residents.
I stayed here for about two months when moving to town. Things were straightforward- good monthly rate, mostly quiet neighbors. The only downside was the train tracks that run literal feet away, so you need to be prepared to be woken up by train horns every hour.
This park is well-run by kind and hard-working people and filled with good neighbors. It has various sized spots, full hook-ups and internet, showers and bathrooms, and easy walking distance to downtown. The managers also run the local Christian store. The rates here are good and we were lucky to get a spot!
9/6/2022 This park has major electrical issues and outages, which has caused the specific row I stay on, with my trailer, and at least 5 other trailers surrounding me to have power continuously go out and on over many hours during hottest part of day. Today alone power went out no less than 25 times between 12 and 7 p.m. This has been occuring for the last 6 days, causing the temperature inside to reach very close to 100 degrees (same as temperature outside). I advised management at the onset, (a week ago), but they chose to do nothing about it, and instead went away for the long holiday weekend. With the constant on and off of power over several hours, and several days, in the extreme heat, I fear that my coach could now be damaged by the ongoing electrical problem. Which by the way, is not affecting the manager's space. The word here that's gotten back to me, is that the manager has stated, "it's not that bad" meaning, he's aware of the problem but doesn't consider this to be a life threatening situation for the tenants and pets affected by these power outages and surges. Most of the tenants affected are seniors, very elderly, and several disabled. My thoughts for prospective tenants is that if you want to pay $600 a month for rent (the cost here) plus being billed for electric, go to Willow Springs RV and Mobile Home Park. They charge the same price, while including such amenities as air conditioned clubhouse, game room, small library for book exchange, and a swimming pool!. NONE of which is included here at Trails End RV Park. Lots of noise pollution due to train tracks and airport immediately next to park. This is a sad place to stay. 😔
The new management has added colorful landscaping to beautify our surroundings. Also, they have put in place a helpful, skilled and reliable maintenance department. We enjoy the trains and the planes.
