Tranquil Acres Cabins

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sleepy Bear cabin. It was perfectly clean and cozy and quite beautiful inside. The whole area is very beautiful and within convenient distance to lots of Holmes County attractions. The only reason we can't give 5 stars is that during our first night, a dog in the pasture across the driveway barked from about 3-5 am. It kept me up, though my husband slept through it. When I called and asked about it the next day, they simply explained he might bark at deer and hoped he wouldn't keep me up again. I thought it was odd to not get an apology at the very least. We specifically chose a cabin over other options, thinking it would be more quiet. The dog didn't bark the following night, but we're not sure if we'd go back with that possibility. If we do, we'll specifically ask about a cabin that's far away from the pasture. I don't know if the owners also own the pasture and dog. If it hadn't been for the dog incident, we would have gladly given our cabin experience 5 stars.

The cabin was so cozy! My husband surprised me with a night away at Tranquil Acres. It was a beautiful cabin and scenery. The owners were great hosts. They also had a road side stand with beautiful flowers. I highly recommend this for a quiet, cozy get away.

Small suggestions would be more comfortable beds (very firm), some blankets along with quieter unit outside main bedroom (very loud). Details we loved were: primary suite jet tub, hot tub and the instant fireplace in living room. It was nice to have bottled water and some snacks as well when we arrived. Very thoughtful details! Interiors were clean and new along with kitchen equipment. Plenty of towels! Appreciated the privacy shades for the hot tub on deck. We would recommend to anyone!

Stayed at Cozy pine cabin . Got to see it with the beautiful snow as well. Cabin was very clean! Only thing was mattress was really firm, which is not the best for a side sleeper. Would definitely recommend visiting - convenient location to Berlin and millersburg shops but still nice and quiet.

I absolutely love Tranquil Acres Cabins. They are very private and secluded. Located on a great area too. The cabins are spacious and clean and equipped with everything you need. They also supply snacks and milk. The hot tub is great and there is also a fire pit with wood and lighter supplied. A barbecue grill if you feel like grilling. It's just wonderful I highly recommend staying there. We used to stay elsewhere but Tranquil Acres is my go to now I won't stay anywhere else. Can't wait for my next stay.
