Very nice campground with large site's. Easy to get in 4.5 miles off or rt 13. I wish the sites were a little more level then they are, but I've seen worse. The restrooms were decent with hot showers. The pond is large great for kayaking. Great hiking and Frisbee golf course. The dump stations were clean with plenty of room. I recommend camping here.

This campground has a nice camp office/store. Roads in the campground aren’t paved - gravel. Restrooms are pretty well kept and are cleaned every day. A nice playground and pavilion with picnic tables are provided and are very clean. Campsites are large and come with electricity and water. Extra bonus of super cute and friendly squirrels that try to steal your food 🥰

Love this state park. Beautiful scenery, wildlife. We were met several days by cranes at the pond. Camping sites were spacious and well maintained. Facilities were clean!!

This place is a hidden gem. A beautiful and well kept state park that offers lots of activities for visitors. The main attraction is the rather large campground. Beautifully maintained campsites offer a clean but slightly more "rustic" camping experience while offering several planned activities for visitors and boat rentals during the summer months. We live nearby but still take the opportunity to camp here very often! We just finished a 3 day stay in one of our favorite winter getaways, the camping cabins. The cabins offer heating and cooling for all season comfort, electricity, as well as a mini fridge. There are bikes you can borrow to cruise around the park and explore all the beauty and wildlife Trap Pond has to offer. Truly an amazing family friendly and affordable park with phenomenal staff to help with anything you may need.
