The wifi wasn't working or it would get 5 stars. Helpful staff. Fair price. Great neighbors.
We love this Campground, stayed here many times. We camped here In a Motorhome. Sites are spacious, nice laundry facility, showers are clean. This time though there was one flaw. The dumpsters were filled to capacity, trash all over the ground. After one week here they finally picked up the trash. He dumped trash on the ground due to overflowing dumpster and just left it. Hopefully someone will come and clean up that area We will stay here again.
The campground is very clean with a beautiful view. The concrete pads are nice, they’re advertised as level but they are not. Love that is it full hook ups. My only real negative is they Advertise that they have 56 spots when in fact most of those spots are reserved by full-timers, Who live in the travel camp year around. They all watch the calendar carefully and keep rebooking their spots. I was estimate there are over 30 full time families living there. I can’t blame them with the cost of housing here.
Nice place along the Potomac with a fishing pier just down the hill. Sites were full hookup and bathhouse had individual showers/toilets and was clean. Considering my site was a concrete pad, it should have been level but was several inches off. The view made up for it though and will definitely be back to visit DC area.
Spent 3 overnights this past weekend. It was our "shake out" weekend after purchasing a new travel trailer. Pull through slots are spacious and paved. The bath house is a close walk from just about every site. The layout of the bath house is nice, with family style facilities. Three Women's and three Men's individual rooms with sink, shower, and toilet. Soap and TP provided. High power hand dryers. The center part of the building is a laundromat, with modern washers and dryers. The entire campground overlooks a cove off the Potomac. Although a fishing pier is adjacent to the campground, warnings against eating the fish is posted (yucky Potomac water). Controlled access. Nearby trails for hiking/walking. I'm afraid the bar might be set high for future campgrounds!
