It was the cheapest thing I could find without going to an Airbnb. It was clean but it needs more maintenance. walls near the bathtub had been repaired many times. The hair dryer didn’t work. Towels and bedding were clean. The hot water at the sink was turned off but there was hot water for the shower. Manager was personable and helpful.
Management was rude and creepy lots of weird people just burst into my room repeatedly had my car vandalized and broken I to in. A nightly basis hundreds of dollars in money and possessions stolen repeatedly the rooms wee in such poorly maintained shape i had the stone counter fall to pieces and broke my foot when i removed the snapped in half broomstick and rocks and Broken chair holding it up the ice machine was down all summer in 116°F heat the pool was closed half the time the bar be que grill bottom fell out my pet birds got loose and drowned to death in the sinks that wouldn't drain scary clientele broke into my room repeatedly the television never worked once wires wre hanging out of the wall even the artwork on the walls was hideous the key card never worked the only nice people were the cleaning staff they were kind & helpful & vsry sweet total lifesavers the microwave didn't work the refrigerator and freezer were broken it was a living nightmare
2 nights, check in July 3rd, check out 5th If this was the ONLY place available, I'd stay here again. $282.43 total, overpriced for what it is-FULLS advertised as QUEENS. Pros: Clean rooms, no bugs, comfortable smaller than stated beds, good pillows, air conditioner and fridge both work really well. Shutters, not curtains, like that feature. Clean grounds, good parking _ Didn't use microwave, tv, alarm clock, phone, wifi, ice machine or pool. _ Cons: These are FULL beds, NOT QUEENS, no bathmat, had to use 1 bath towel for floor, tub is slick, had to use a hand towel for traction, no dirty clothes bags, no emergency exit plan signage, no idea when check out time was, front desk "printers not working right now" so no receipt and didnt sign any documentation, but we have our bookings reservation and photos.
Would give 0 stars if possible. The front desk person is a liar and a thief. We arrived to check in at about 10 pm after driving 4 hours. My mother-in-law had booked the room for us online and was told everything was taken care of and we could just check in, get keys, and go sleep. Upon arriving we were told that there was a $150 security deposit that was refundable upon checkout, which is completely normal but we were not told about. We handed the man (who was extremely rude and confrontational out the gate with us) my husband's ID and debit card. Without telling us he charged the room for the 2 nights AND THEN tried to charge the security deposit, which bounced because we had only budgeted a certain amount for this trip. We called my MIL and he refused to talk to her, telling us that he wanted the money and didn't care what was going on. We went outside to talk to my MIL and then contacted my brother-in-law in Kelseyville to stay with him instead, which I might add was quite out of the way for us to have to do. I went back inside and requested that the charge be cancelled as we were not told what was being charged. The man said we had to pay one night at least due to the cancellation. I told him that he did not tell us what he was charging and that we would not be staying. He told me to call corporate, and upon me asking for the number he refused to give it to me telling me to look it up myself. The charge for the 2 nights is still pending in my husbands bank so he didn't even refund us the one night like he said he would. This place is a SCAM and a DUMP.
Sight unseen... we decided to stay in Clearlake area on our way home from a two week trip. We wanted a quiet place on the lake. We were completely unaware of the high crime rate and level and frequency of violence from which this community suffers. We heard loud arguments and screaming from within 30 feet of our room, loud rap music coming from an adjacent room without intervention from the hotel staff. We left at 3 am quietly as we felt unsafe. It was a weird experience.
