Bobby and Deborah are the real bread and butter that hold this place together. I've been here for a week and without them, I would've left day 1. No matter the circumstance, they are smiles and laughter throughout the week. Bobby delivers the best breakfasts out of everyone and deserves a raise. Deborah has amazing customer service skills and makes everyone feel welcome (also a raise). The other folks I've delt with during the days couldn't be bothered to lift a finger or smile. I requested items through the housekeeping procedure, since they don't come every day, and the housekeeper never came (I was out of toilet paper and shampoo). This place is not a hotel but a long term, assisted living place. Many of the people here are tenants because they've been here for over 30 days. There isn't proper insulation in between the rooms or the hallway so you hear absolutely everything at all times. As long as Bobby and Deborah run this place, there's a chance it'll survive. Otherwise, no one else has a work ethic or customer service skills. Lazy lazy lazy

I was a guest here a year or two ago.Very clean and well-maintained. Nice price/good value, with a free breakfast until 9am. There are various room options available. I thought it was really nice that they had quaint, grassy area(s) outside with picnic tables and barbecue grills. There's a convenience store/gas station RIGHT next door; it's conveniently located SUPER EXTREMELY close to the motel (about as close as it could possibly be -- almost seems like it's PART of the motel, haha). *NOTE: $100 deposit required.

Absolute mess of a business. Daytime staff is out of control mainly the young woman at desk has no common sense and lies to get u off the phone. I had my deposit held for 2 weeks after I left and had to go in person to right the issue. The cleaning staff put a stained set of sheets on my bed. The manager at night Deborah sent a complete stranger to my room to "help me" with my sheets then proceeded not to wash her hands at minimum before starting i ended up doing it myself as the woman started reading my prescription bottle from my doctors wich made me upset. I told Deborah who came back to talk to me with the random woman pacing behind her in the hallway casually just listening in. They let pitbull owners let their dogs wander without a leash I called in a warning 2 days before another guests dog got attacked. Main desk woke me up at 11 to check out without checking for extended stay by opening my door directly and talking to me while I was sleeping naked in the room I paid for. A Cock roach was crawling on my walls day 2. No point in putting in room cleaning as the staff is full of excuses. The only guarantee here is a bad time!!! I stayed for over 2 weeks because I THOUGHT it was the best option for me. North academy location behind the gas station next to the highway exit by the chapel hills mall is the same price and actually worth the value

I had no heat for 6 nights! It was freezing in that room! When I inquired with the front desk they advised me they had no more rooms available and there's nothing they can do but they would send a maintenance guy to look at it. Who never showed up after 6 nights! The heater didn't work the hair dryer didn't work the Asian cleaning crew in the morning were rude condescending hovering waiting outside my door so that they could get in the room to clean they put away the complimentary breakfast food 7 minutes before the cutoff time they knew I clearly came up to that room to get something to eat and she just put it away chattering with her coworkers in another language! Dirty, disgusting, stains, place stinks so bad of drugs(not MJ) it made me physically ill! Old man that vacuums decided it was his right to take issue with my hair?? Kept telling me not to worry about it?! That entire morning crew should be terminated. They can't clean , barely speak English they lie they are rude .. just an awful experience

Hotel is conveniently located. Room was clean and tidy. Everything is in good working order. Had a fridge , microwave, and TV. Bathroom is small, 6’x6’, but clean and functional. Because many of the reviews are negative on the bathroom, I’ve included a picture. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and good with an attendant on duty. Sausage gravy on biscuits, hard boiled eggs, cook your own waffles, cold cereal, and a good selection of drinks. I had several special requests, and the staff was extremely helpful and responsive. In summary, it’s like oyne of those people who is rough on the outside, but kind and skillful on the inside.
