Travelodge by Wyndham Eureka

Daytime manager was thoughtful, proficient, seems to see everyone as individuals. Clean room. Good mat in front of door. Door handle allows for the do-not-disturb hang tag to stay put. In-room coffee. Adequate quantity and location of outlets; no USB ports. Good microwave. Reliable wifi. Shower has strong water pressure and plenty of heat. Heater/AC unit unfamiliar to me; no instructions for use evident, and operation not intuitive, manager assisted. Ample surface space in bathroom for toiletries. No guest laundry on property and local laundromat prices are exorbitant. Coffee and tea in lobby; no breakfasts. Grocers nearby: one pricey and one economical.

For the price and for being a brand of hotels that aren’t labeled as “fancy”, the room was very clean! The bathroom was very clean, they provided easily accessible shampoo/body wash in the shower area. Overall the area is quiet but about one steer down there is a lot of homeless, it didn’t impact our stay but when outside you will hear them or see them. The parking lot is gated, the hotel overall felt very safe. The attendant at the front desk was very nice. Overall it was a great stay! & bonus is that it has a food truck that pulls up at night which is convenient and also a grocery store right across the street which we loved. I would stay here again.

Great place to book while in the city of eureka! The manager he is great,friendly and very welcoming. He goes above and beyond for anything you need and sometimes it's even without asking for anything it's just his personality and hospitality to do it.. the rooms are great and comfortable and homey.

We have just arrived back to Australia from the US. Did a lot of different bookings for our 8 week stay in the US. We would never stay here! The manager is extremely rude. I booked 3 rooms back in Jun 2024. One room I made a mistake with the dates. After realising I phoned and did say it was totally my fault but because I had 2 other rooms at correct dates thought he may be kind enough help me with my mistake. I was booking thru a travel club Wyndham Rewards and they advised to call property. He slammed the phone down in my ear.! Very rude! I was concerned for our upcoming trip hoping all Americans were not as rude . Thankfully we met some lovely people and had a great trip. I will be putting this on FB Wyndham as well. It was unnecessary behaviour. We cancelled our other bookings and stayed at a beautiful accommodation with very friendly staff. What a contrast!!! This man doesn’t deserve anything!! Don’t stay here if you want friendly and helpful!!

On a family road trip and staying in a lot of different hotels/motels along the way. This was by far the best I’ve stayed in for a long while! Even better than some of the $400+ rooms! Just clean and no fuss! Definitely recommend!
