I understand this location may have been convenient for others, but it wasn’t for us. The breakfast was decent if you like microwaved sausage patties and eggs. I appreciated the option to make fresh waffles, but you need to get there early to avoid waiting or feeling awkward while others wait for you to finish with the waffle maker. I was also disappointed with the key card and lock system. We were on the second floor, and I had to return to the front desk several times. They seemed used to it—just renewing my key cards and reminding me to keep it separate from my phone. Despite this, we always had issues getting back into our room. I had to either rattle the card many times or use the housekeeper’s trick, which felt ridiculous. The owners really need to fix this lock system. Imagine carrying multiple items, including a drink, only to have to put everything down because the key card system is so difficult to use. For the price we paid, the stay wasn’t worth it. The room was outdated, and the floors were in poor condition, which could be hazardous if you’re not careful. We also stayed in a room with a kitchenette, but the unwashed pans with leftover oil and a broken electric stove—only one burner worked—were disappointing.

The front desk lady was totally awesome. I came in very late last minute and ended up with an excellent room. I'm literally reviewing this to remember to make sure to go back there next time I'm in Redding California. They have a very decent complimentary breakfast which included hot eggs two types of sausage waffles milk and cereal and I believe yogurt as well as bagels.

Booked this place last minute after a long drive and was surprised by how good of a deal it was. Front desk lady was friendly and welcoming. My room was in a quiet corner, spacious, really clean and beds are comfy. For how much I paid, I’d say it’s worth it.

First forgive the pictures, I should have taken them when I arrived and not as I left. Overall this hotel was a true bang for the buck. The front desk staff was attentive, very aware of all that was going on with the property and knowledgeable of the property and area. The hotel is older, but super clean, and they have done a ton to make it the best it can be. The beds were hard, but I’m a fan and slept like a baby. The only negative was there are no coffee makers EVEN in a kitchenette room and you can see I had an accident, there coffee is hot which is what I wanted. Yes Wyndham reached out to me, so no need to do it again. I highly recommend this place and will stay again when I come back.

We have enjoyed our stay here. We were lucky enough to get a room with a kitchenette. The room is spacious with 2 beds. It also has a door connected to the next room so if you are traveling with kids and need more than 2 beds there are rooms available with adjoining doors. The hotel is pet friendly which I love because I travel with my service dog. Alex and Heather are the owners and they are great. If you have a question or need anything they are on top of helping you out. All the staff housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk are very friendly and if you need towels or any issue with room they immediately help. For example one day my tv said it wasn't working due to weather on a clear day after waiting a few minutes to see if it started working I went to the office told Alex what was going on and he sent the maintenance lady up immediately and she had it fixed in less than 5 minutes. We travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels and it's rare to find somewhere so quick to address issues. If you are in Redding I definitely suggest Travelodge. They have more reasonable prices than most places, rooms are spacious and clean, and staff goes above and beyond when you need anything. Also another plus is that they have a laundry room for customers which is always clean. It's located within a less than 10 minute drive to lots of restaurants and shopping.
