Travelodge by Wyndham Traverse City MI

Overall really pleased with this motel. Staff was extremely kind, very nice gentleman greeted us upon arrival at approx. 8:30pm on a Friday evening. He was pleasant and promptly checked us in and gave recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the city. Hotel was very clean A+++ and the shower pressure was good. No fan in the bathroom is a bit of a bummer, but the beds were so very comfy that we had a wonderful sleep. Fresh coffee served all day long at front desk, no breakfast or snacks. Everything was well kept and we were extremely pleased. We did not get a chance to use the pool as we were there for a sports weekend, but we saw several guests enjoying the pool. Overall great job Travelodge TC!

Besides having a bandaid stuck to the smoke alarm 🙄 the room itself was fine. However, I’ve never dealt with a more rude “manager” in my life. Double charged us (so check your bills) and the manager claimed it was our fault. After 30+ minutes it was resolved but based on his attitude and lack of customer service I’d never recommend staying in this place again. Astounded by the way we were treated from the manager - front desk gals were polite enough but our experience was sickening.

We go up to traverse city a lot. This was a last minute decision but we wanted to go support our friends running marathon. I was not really expecting much with this hotel but If I can give zero reviews I would. We paid about $500 for two nights. All the prices were increased due to holiday weekend and the marathon which was expected. When we first checked in the gentleman wa extremely kind, friendly and professional. We got to our room it hard a terrible smell and the corner of the room had trash my husband told me just to shake it off. The hotel was outdated and when I slept I felt itchy and it felt dirty. The next day we asked if our room could be cleaned and Jacqueline said that they do not clean the rooms if you are having an extended stay. I explain with the price we paid you would think they would come and clean or make beds at least and give new towels. Instead of saying something she just slammed the phone down. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Even motel 6 has better service then this place. The location was nice but I would never stay or book with this hotel again.

It certainly wasn't upscale, but it was adequate. Clean. A little noisy. The furniture was usable, but certainly not luxurious. Given Traverse City at the peak of the season Travelodge was an acceptable trade-off between price and quality. I'm glad we stayed there.

Dirty old rooms. Needs better outlets for charging by bed. Rusty outlets and lamp. Chipped enamel in bath with dim lighting. Needs better soap and shampoo conditioner for shower.
