Customer Reviews
Treasure Beach Campground is definitely one of the nicer campgrounds we’ve been too. It was extremely clean and well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean. The staff was friendly and really accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much. We are looking forward to camping there again in the future. I highly recommend this campground.
My husband and I took our 2 year old son here over the summer to stay for a long Labor Day weekend. Upon entering our cabin, we found that the a/c unit contained mold, which then prevented us from getting settled in. Several hours later, the HVAC technician said he believed it was not mold (even though it was black and fuzzy) and the unit could just be wiped down, which he did. By Saturday, my 2 year old son was coughing and sneezing consistently, and my husband and I had to go out several times to buy medicine for him. We wound up leaving late Saturday night because his coughing was so bad he wasn’t sleeping. The cabin was dirty and the playground was littered with trash. To say we were unhappy with our stay would be an understatement. After reaching out to “management” we were given a $100 refund (paid $1300 to stay for 3 nights). Several days after leaving, I reached out to management explaining our situation. I was told “corporate” would have to reach out to us and it’s been over a month and I have yet to hear anything. The location was great and very close to the beach, unfortunately we will not be staying here again.
Went to visit my daughter for a few days. Although we didn't stay overnight in the campground we found everyone we met to be extremely nice. There was plenty to do and we spent alot of time on and around the water. We found everything to be very well maintained. All in all Treasure Beach is a wonderful place I would recommend to my friends.
We enjoy going to this campground. Its convenient location makes it an ideal spot for a family getaway. Our children absolutely love the bounce pillow, which provides endless entertainment. There were a lot of unsupervised kids, most were good, but some kiddos, not so much. However, there are a few aspects that we found less appealing. Some of the parking pads are covered with tiny rocks, which tend to get everywhere and can scratch surfaces. Additionally, we found the presence of golf carts displaying profanity-laden political flags to be quite off-putting. While we respect the right to freedom of speech, we believe that the use of the f-word is unnecessary in such a family-friendly environment. On a positive note, the campground is generally very family-friendly, and it's evident that everyone is mindful of the safety of the little ones running around. Overall, we have a good time here and appreciate the efforts to create a fun and safe atmosphere for families.
1st time here and was pleasantly surprised. Sites where large, and amenities in the park were very nice. Location was great as we were down for a concert and the Freeman Arts Pavilion, which was a short distance away. Would stay here again and recommend to others
